Our client, a \"top-five\" Irish law firm is seeking a

Private Equity Solicitor with 3-6 years' PQE to join its corporate team. The appointee may be based in

Dublin or include a secondment of up to two years in the firm’s

London office. The hiring team is focused on private equity and growth equity transactions for international sponsors, portfolio companies and other institutional investors.

Responsibilities

  • Advising private equity and growth equity sponsors on acquisitions and investments.
  • Acting for portfolio companies on strategic acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
  • Advising sponsors, shareholders and portfolio companies on disposals and exits.
  • Working on transactions involving infrastructure, technology, cybersecurity, financial services, healthcare, business services and consumer businesses.
  • Advising on the Irish elements of international and cross-border transactions.
  • Managing transactions through due diligence, negotiation, signing and completion.
  • Coordinating advice from relevant specialist teams across the firm.
  • Working directly with partners and maintaining day-to-day contact with clients and their other advisers.

  • Experience managing corporate transactions and working directly with clients.
  • Strong drafting, organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a busy corporate team.
