What we are looking for; Spencer Group are recruiting for Design Engineers (across all levels) to work within our close-knit Design team. You must have a Civil, Structural or Mechanical background to be suitable for this role.
Where the role is based; Candidates will have the opportunity to work from one of our two office locations located at both sides of the Humber. We have our head office at Humber Quays, Hull & our Barrow Upon Humber office with an option for hybrid working also.
What you'll be doing; Working closely with the construction teams you will produce economic design solutions that meet the clients' requirements. The design journey will start at the tender stage progressing to detailed design followed by hands-on involvement at the construction stage. An eye for quality, detail and buildability is key to making our designs a success. To ensure the success of our business these attributes are adopted on all of our designs daily. As a member of the design team, you will have a unique opportunity to actively influence not only the design solution but also how it can be constructed. We are a multisector organisation. As a design team member you will be involved in a wide variety of projects across the group. The role is very fulfilling and will allow you to leave your mark across the UK by being involved in projects that improve our futures.
What we're looking for; To enable the team to expand we are looking for Design Team members including Engineers, Technicians and Design Managers at all levels with the enthusiasm, thrust and the drive to enable the team to succeed.
