Not every veterinary job is the same. Some promise work-life balance but leave you exhausted. I'm working exclusively with an exceptional independent small animal practice just outside Cardiff city centre that's built its reputation around two simple beliefs: As they continue to grow, they're looking for another Veterinary Surgeon to join their close-knit, experienced team. Whether you're an experienced clinician or looking for a practice that will genuinely invest in your development, this is an opportunity where you'll be encouraged, supported and appreciated from day one.
You'll have access to modern, purpose-built facilities, an incredibly varied caseload and the clinical freedom to practise medicine the way it should be practised. The practice provides its own 24-hour care through a dedicated overnight team, meaning you can finish your shift, head home and actually enjoy your evenings.

This is a 40-hour position across just four days, with only 1 in 6 weekends, giving you plenty of time away from work to enjoy everything Cardiff and South Wales have to offer.
Salary: £45,000-£70,000 depending on experience

Who They're Looking For
You'll be an MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for delivering excellent patient care. You'll ideally be confident with routine consultations and surgery, although vets looking to continue developing their skills are equally encouraged to apply. Applicants currently based in the UK or overseas requiring sponsorship are both welcome.
