We are currently recruiting for two experienced Maths Lecturers to join our team, delivering high-quality GCSE Maths Resit and Functional Skills provision within a Further Education setting.
We have opportunities available across North Tyneside and South Tyneside, with an ASAP start.
- North Tyneside: Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week
- South Tyneside: Monday-Friday, 25.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons to learners across GCSE Resit and Functional Skills programmes.
- Supporting learners to develop their mathematical knowledge, confidence and skills.
- Preparing learners effectively for examinations and assessments.
- Monitoring learner progress and providing appropriate support and feedback.
- Creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learner outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- A Level 5 Teaching Qualification or PGCE.
- Previous experience teaching within a Further Education (FE) setting - essential.
- Proven experience delivering GCSE Maths Resit and Functional Skills.
- An Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service (UDS).
- Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths, with certificates available as evidence.
