About the Role: As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of additional needs, providing essential one-to-one support in various subjects and activities. Your dedication and commitment will help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with additional needs
- Assist in implementing personalised learning plans and strategies
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and completing tasks
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure the student's individual needs are met
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and feedback
Requirements:
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience
- Passion for working with students with diverse needs
- Ability to engage and motivate students in their learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to cover lessons when needed (preferred)
