My Local Authority client in Yorkshire is looking to appoint a talented Service Director for Children's Health & Wellbeing on a Permanent basis. This role will provide strategic leadership across a complex and evolving system. You will shape how services are delivered across health, social care, education and early help.

About the role:

  • Lead the development of a more integrated, preventative approach to children's health & wellbeing.
  • Bring together partners across the local authority, health services, VCSE and wider system.
  • Ensure services are aligned and focused on improving outcomes for children & families.
  • Support and drive system transformation, including strengthening commissioning approaches, delivering SEND reforms and developing sustainable models of provision.

About you:

  • Extensive experience as a strategic leader, with successes in delivering improvement across complex children's systems.
  • Strong ability to influence across organisational boundaries and lead in a complex, politically aware environment.
  • Experience of leading transformation at pace, managing significant budgets and resources to achieve VFM.
  • Ability to travel to different locations around the district.

  • Salary: £103,463 PA
  • Hybrid Working (predominantly on site)
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
