Spencer Clarke Group are working with supportive and inclusive primary schools in Skelmersdale who are seeking caring and committed Unqualified Teaching Assistants to provide SEND and 1:1 support across the school. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking to gain hands-on experience within a primary school environment. Whether you've supported children in a care setting, worked with young people in the community, or gained experience through personal or voluntary roles, you could be exactly who we're looking for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEND.
- Support pupils with learning, behaviour, communication and emotional regulation.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive classroom activities.
- Help adapt learning materials to meet individual pupil needs.
- Promote a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young people in any setting.
