Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Specialist Education Ormskirk 109.85 per day Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 3:30pm | Term Time Only Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people?

Do you have personal or professional experience supporting individuals with additional needs?

We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work within specialist schools and alternative provisions across Ormskirk and Skelmersdale.

You ll be supporting both primary and secondary-aged pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in education or continue making a positive impact within specialist settings.

The Role Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Assisting students with additional learning, communication and emotional needs.

Helping to create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.

Supporting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management.

Encouraging students to develop confidence, independence and social skills.

Working across a variety of specialist provisions to meet the individual needs of each setting.
