Date: September 2026 Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm | Term Time Only We are currently recruiting for dedicated and resilient Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work within specialist provisions across the Blackburn area, supporting students with a range of SEND and SEMH additional needs.

Role Responsibilities Supporting students with SEND and SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.
Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
Promoting positive behaviour and supporting emotional regulation strategies.
Building positive and trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement in learning.
Supporting pupils both inside and outside of the classroom environment.
Assisting with the implementation of individual learning plans and behaviour strategies.
Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment.
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to support students individual needs.
Following safeguarding and school policies at all times.
