SEND Teaching Assistant - Specialist Provision Skelmersdale 109.85 per day Monday to Friday | 08:30am - 3:30pm | Full-Time | Term Time Only Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs?

We are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time within a specialist provision in the Skelmersdale area, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, caring and resilient, with a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their potential.

The Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.

Support pupils with their learning, communication, social development and emotional wellbeing.

Assist the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and accessible activities.

Help create a safe, positive and supportive learning environment.

Support pupils with their individual needs and learning objectives.

Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.

Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure pupils receive appropriate support.

Promote independence, confidence and positive engagement within the school environment.
