Spencer Clarke Group is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in West Lancashire to recruit a qualified Chemistry Teacher for a September start. This is a full-time role initially running until the Christmas break, with the potential to be extended beyond this for the right candidate.
The school is looking for a knowledgeable and engaging Chemistry Teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will join a supportive Science department that is committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential.
The Role:
- Full-time Chemistry Teacher
- September start
- Initially until Christmas, with the possibility of an extension
- Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
- Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons
- Paid to scale
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Chemistry in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management skills
- A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
