A Local Authority in West London are looking to appoint a talented Systems Accountant on an Interim basis and are working with Spencer Clarke Group to find a successful candidate.
What's on offer:
- Rates: £375 - £522 per day, inside IR35. Negotiable based on experience.
- Hybrid Working
- Contract type: Contract (36 hrs a week)
- Hours: 09:00 - 17:00
About the role:
Based in West London. This role is to support the Team Leader - Oracle Cloud Support (Financial Systems Team) in providing system support for budget monitoring and budget development, (EPM) and the Financial systems maintenance (ERP).
Responsibilities:
- To maintain and develop financial systems.
- To support the maintenance of the EPM, AP, AR, P2P system set up and liaise with Financial Systems Leads for these areas to ensure that users are set up with the correct access.
- To ensure that new users and segment codes requested are set up in the system in line with Council policies and assist with the review of master data in the system.
About you:
You will have the following experience:
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and practices and the financial issues affecting local authorities.
- Demonstrable local government finance experience.
- Experience of using financial systems within a large complex organisation.
