A Local Authority in South West London is looking to appoint a talented Finance Business Partner on an Interim basis to develop the council's Strategy. Spencer Clarke Group are working closely with the client to find the successful candidate.
What's on offer:
- Rates: £370 - £500 per day, inside IR35. Negotiable based on experience.
- Hybrid Working
- Contract type: Contract (36 hrs a week)
- Hours: 09:00 - 17:00
About the role:
Based in West London (Hybrid).
Responsibilities:
- Development and Co-ordination of the capital programme, and monitoring costs/delivery.
- Providing financial advice and support on capital projects.
- Providing robust methodology for calculating 'no detriment' allocation of (part) HRA receipts to the GF where applicable.
- Development of the Capital Strategy & Coordination of the Council's Capital Board.
- Management of Capital Grants/S106/S278 - ensuring alignment with budgetary assumptions on a scheme by scheme basis, and proper allocation arrangements.
About you:
You will have the following experience:
- Qualified accountant with experience of local government corporate finance.
- Self-starter with initiative and team leadership experience who enjoys working in a collaborative and adaptable team environment.
