We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs within a nurturing and inclusive environment. The Role Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN. Support children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties and other additional needs. Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs and abilities. Promote confidence, independence and engagement in learning. Work closely with teachers, the SENCO and external professionals. Help create a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment. The Ideal Candidate Experience supporting children or young people with SEN. A patient, compassionate and proactive approach. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. The ability to remain calm, adaptable and supportive.
