We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable School Caretaker to join a welcoming school in Stockport on a long-term basis starting 11th June.
Working Hours (Split Shift): 7:00am - 10:00am, 2:00pm - 6:00pm
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and clean environment for staff and pupils. Duties will include:
- Opening and locking the school premises
- General maintenance and basic repairs
- Health & safety checks
- Site security and alarm systems
- Supporting with deliveries and site upkeep
- Liaising with contractors where required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous caretaker/site supervisor experience, ideally within a school setting
- Good maintenance and DIY skills
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- A proactive and dependable attitude

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained. You must have legal right to work in the UK. You must be willing to attend a registration interview.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
