My client in Southampton are looking to appoint a talented HR Advisor on a Contract basis. This role will provide a comprehensive employee relations advisory service, supporting managers across the organisation with a wide range of people-related matters. The postholder will manage employee relations casework from inception through to conclusion, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies and HR best practice.

- Salary: £20-£24 an hour (negotiable based on experience)

About the role:
- Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters from initial referral through to resolution
- Handle cases relating to Disciplinary matters, Grievances, Sickness absence and other employee relations matters
- Support managers in applying policies and procedures consistently and fairly
- Promote best practice in employee management and workforce relations
About you:
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Proven experience managing employee relations casework
- Experience handling disciplinary, grievance, absence management, flexible working and performance-related cases
- Local Authority experience is essential
