Tutor - Skelmersdale Working in partnership with schools and Local Authorities | Spencer Clarke Tutors Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour Location: Skelmersdale Hours: Flexible, dependent on learner requirements Contract: Part-time Spencer Clarke Tutors are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Tutors to support children and young people across Skelmersdale through personalised, 1:1 education programmes. We work with learners who may be outside of mainstream education, require additional support with their studies, or benefit from a more flexible and individual approach to learning. The Role Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions. Support learners across Primary and Secondary education. Provide Maths, English and other subject support where appropriate. Adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs and abilities. Build positive relationships and encourage learner confidence. Help pupils re-engage with education and develop their skills. Provide clear feedback following each session. Requirements Previous experience working with children or young people. Teaching qualification, tutoring experience or relevant educational background. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated sessions. Experience supporting SEND, SEMH or learners with barriers to education is desirable. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).
