A Local Authority in London is looking to recruit a Senior Finance Officer on a Permanent Basis.

What does this role entail? Here is a very brief snapshot:
- Report to the VAT Accountant and support on a range of areas within the Corporate Accountancy team
- Completion of the monthly CIS Returns and VAT claims
- Liaising with HMRC and addressing any VAT-related queries
- Monitoring and reporting on financial controls
- Support on completion of the annual Statement of Accounts and associated processes
- Completion of government and other statutory returns
- Balance sheet and other reconciliations
- Liaising with and providing information to internal and external audit as required

- Excellent communication skills and an exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis
