We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming primary SEN school in Bolton from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and committed individual who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

The Role:

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position
  • Supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, MLD and communication difficulties
  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider SEN team
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support
  • Assisting with behaviour management and pupil engagement
  • Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Previous experience working within an SEN school setting is essential
