Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream secondary school in the Haydock area from September on a long-term temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a real impact within a well-established Science department, teaching students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The Role
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing support where needed.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department and wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
- Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
- Can engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
- Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student development.
