About the Role
Spencer Clarke Group is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Salford to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with additional needs
- Assist in implementing personalised learning plans and intervention strategies
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and completing classroom activities
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SEND staff, and other professionals to meet students' individual needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback where required

Requirements
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant school-based experience

- Experience working within a secondary school environment is desirable
