Salary: £26,963 - £27,863 (pro rata), equivalent to SCP16-SCP18 FTE £30,518 - £31,537
A forward-thinking secondary school in Salford is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Attendance & Cover Manager to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. Role Overview
As the Attendance & Cover Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining excellent levels of attendance, supporting safeguarding processes, and ensuring effective daily cover arrangements across the school. You will:
- Lead and oversee the school's attendance team
- Line manage Cover Supervisors
- Implement attendance and punctuality policies
- Identify and support students with attendance concerns
- Work collaboratively with external agencies as part of safeguarding processes
- Maintain accurate case notes and prepare documentation for potential legal proceedings
