We are currently working in partnership with Halton Local Authority to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Music Tutor to support a primary-aged learner.
Role Details:
- Location: Halton
- Hours: 2 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
- Pay Rate: £35.00 - £37.50 per hour
About the Role:
You will be supporting a young learner with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who has been out of mainstream education for a period of time. The learner has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and requires a patient, engaging tutor to reintroduce structured learning through music-based sessions.
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEND learners (essential)
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs
- A compassionate, flexible, and engaging teaching style
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Relevant teaching/tutoring or music qualification/experience
