We are assisting a Local Authority in the appointment of an experienced Residential Resource Worker to join their Childrens Social Services in Middlesbrough. As a Residential Resource Worker, you will play an essential part in providing direct care and effective support to young people in our short break home to enable them to achieve positive outcomes in line with their childcare personal plan. Every day is different and you will face new challenges! As a Residential Childcare Officer you will be responsible for the following: Working within a team supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes, build appropriate relationships and have fun, being there at every step of their development. Recognise and promote young people\’s individuality, uniqueness and diverse needs whilst providing a nurturing and positive environment. Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people by fulfilling all duties and responsibilities. Assist the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager and Senior Residential Childcare Officers in ensuring that the home meets the standards and expectations of its Statement of Purpose (SoP) at all times.To be a sucessful candidate for this role you must have the following: Experience of direct work with children.
