Residential Children’s Home Manager

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Residential Children\’s Home Manager for a local authority based in Berkshire. In this role, you will lead the development and management of newly established children\’s homes, creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment that transforms the lives of vulnerable children and young people. Key Duties: Lead and manage two children\’s residential homes, ensuring full regulatory compliance and high-quality care. Recruit, develop, and support a skilled, resilient team aligned with a therapeutic practice model. Oversee budgets, operations, and service development to meet the complex needs of children and young people. Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve the best outcomes for every child. Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Proven experience managing a children\’s residential home in line with Ofsted standards. Minimum 3 years in a leadership role within a children\’s social care setting. Strong track record of staff recruitment, development, and leading through change. Experience embedding therapeutic approaches and managing complex care needs.
