As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of children and young people. Through consistent support and encouragement, you will help create a safe and nurturing environment where young people feel a true sense of belonging. This stable foundation will empower them to understand and work through past experiences and current challenges, ultimately enabling them to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Support and enable children and young people to achieve their personal goals and full potential. Undertake commissioned work within Children and Young People\’s Services as required. Ensure that all young people receive a sensitive and inclusive service that meets their social, emotional, cultural, educational, physical, and health needs. Act as a Key Worker for specified young people, implementing, monitoring, and recording individual Placement Plans in collaboration with your supervisor and the wider team. Contribute to the provision of a caring, safe, and supportive living environment within the Home. Welcome and integrate new placements into the Home in line with policy and procedure, ensuring a smooth and positive transition.Requirements: Previous experience working directly with children and young people.
