Qualified Teaching Assistant Location: Preston Pay Rate: £95-£110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications) Contract Type: Flexible - Day-to-day / Short-term / Long-term Supply Agency: Spencer Clarke Group About the Role Spencer Clarke Group is currently working with a range of welcoming schools across Preston who are looking for dedicated and experienced Qualified Teaching Assistants to join their teams. As a Qualified Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils with their learning, both within the classroom and through targeted one-to-one or small group interventions. Working closely with teachers and other members of staff, you will help to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every pupil can thrive. Key Responsibilities Support pupils with their learning on a one-to-one and small group basis. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective learning activities. Deliver targeted interventions to support pupil progress where required. Support pupils with a range of additional learning, social and emotional needs. Help to create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils to remain focused and engaged. Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of different learners. Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing.What We're Looking For A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification, ideally Level 2 or Level 3. Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children and young people in an educational setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, caring and adaptable approach. The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Confidence supporting pupils both independently and as part of a wider team. A genuine passion for education and supporting young people to achieve their potential.
