Spencer Clarke Group is working with a number of secondary schools across Preston and the surrounding areas, and we are looking to speak with qualified secondary school teachers across all subject specialisms. We have a range of long-term teaching opportunities available, including short-term cover, full academic year positions and roles with the potential to become permanent. The Role
- Planning and delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teaching within your subject specialism
- Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Working closely with departmental colleagues and wider school staff
- Taking on the full responsibilities of a classroom teacher for longer-term placements
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised UK teaching qualification
- Strong knowledge of your subject specialism
- Confident classroom and behaviour management
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
