Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading on Site Security and ensuring all buildings are secured properly each day
  • Carry out general maintenance checks, including cleaning and minor repairs as needed
  • Perform security checks to ensure the safety of the premises
  • Assist with the setup and cleanup of school events and activities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Lock up or open the school securely depending on agreed shift pattern

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school is preferred but not essential
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic DIY and maintenance skills, experience as a Handyperson or trades person is highly desirable
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable and punctual
