Spencer Clarke Group are working with a secondary school in Preston to recruit a Food Technology Teacher for a long-term position starting in September. There is also the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The successful teacher will be responsible for delivering Food Technology lessons across the secondary age range, providing a positive and engaging learning environment and supporting pupils to develop both their practical skills and subject knowledge.

  • Planning and delivering practical and theory-based lessons
  • Assessing pupil progress and providing appropriate feedback

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS, PGCE or another recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Confident delivering practical Food Technology lessons safely
  • Able to plan engaging lessons and support pupils of varying abilities
  • ECTs with relevant Food Technology experience will also be considered

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
