My Local Authority client in Lancashire is looking to appoint a talented Business Development Specialist on a Contract basis. This role will lead on the market and business development and supplier relationship management for the Council.

About the role:

  • Based in Lancashire (hybrid - very flexible):
  • Develop and build strong relationships with local suppliers/providers.
  • Support the launch of new income streams/business opportunities.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Council.
  • Develop ideas and commercial opportunities.

About you:

  • Experienced in managing key accounts/strategic multi-level relationships.
  • Highly developed Relationship Management Skills.
  • Commercial expertise to drive performance, manage reviews, income generation and cost management - develop and deliver KPI's.
  • Ability to build strong commercial partnerships.

What's on offer:

  • Salary: £500-£700+ per day, IR35 TBC* negotiable based on experience.
  • Hybrid Working.
  • Contract type: Contract.
  • Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.
