My Local Authority client in Devon is looking to appoint a talented Children's Transformation Programme Manager on a Contract basis. The role will pull together multiple workstreams to help support children and families in Plymouth that are in need of crisis support and potentially residential care.

About the role:

  • Based in Devon (hybrid): Lead a complex programme of transformation, with a focus on Children in residential care, matching them to foster families.
  • Improve and develop the service to better support foster carers and enable them to take on children with specialist needs.
  • Scope and build Council-run care homes in the city to keep children near their families and support networks.

About you:

  • You will have the following experiences:
  • Extensive experience in Children's transformation, in a Local Authority context.
  • Excellent understanding of fostering and children's residential services.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering value for money and cost-savings.

What's on offer:

  • Salary: £826 per day, inside IR35
  • Hybrid Working (predominantly on site)
  • Contract type: Contract
  • Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
