Placements & Assessment Officer ** We're partnering with a Local Authority in the Enfield area to support their search for a Placements & Assessment Officer. This role involves commissioning placements for Looked After Children and conducting Quality Assurance across various placement types. Contract – 4- 6 Month agency contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis. Working Hours – Full time position. (35 hours per week) Location – Enfield (Hybrid working) Rate of Pay – £22 – £26 per hour. (negotiable on experience) Accountabilities: To ensure QA visits to all residential and semi-independent resources where a looked after child is placed prior to placement or within agreed timescale and critically evaluate the provision against Ofsted evaluation reports. There will be an expectation that you will undertake at least 6 assessment visits per month, with the majority of placements being outside of Enfield. Collate and analyse the assessments information and to produce a report quarterly for the Team Manager, Senior Placements Officer and Head of Commissioning/AD – Strategic Commissioning.Experience Needed: Looked After Children placements.
