Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive mainstream secondary school in West Lancashire to recruit a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher for a long term temporary position. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a well established Design & Technology department and inspire students through engaging and creative Food Technology lessons.
The Role
- Deliver Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and support student progress and attainment
- Work collaboratively with the wider DT department and school staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for teaching and motivating young people
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
