Spencer Clarke Tutors are currently looking for an experienced 1:1 SEND Tutor to support students through personalised tuition. The role involves providing one-to-one tuition either in the child's home or in a community setting such as a library. You will be working in partnership with Oldham Local Authority to help learners achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
  • Carry out baseline assessments to identify individual learning needs
  • Plan and prepare structured lessons suited to SEND learners
  • Complete and submit weekly progress reports
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of additional needs

Requirements

  • Experience working with SEND learners is essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own timetable
  • QTS is desirable

Pay Rate

£30-£35 per hour, depending on experience
