My client in Midlands are looking to appoint a talented HR Advisor on a Contract basis. We are seeking an experienced Interim HR Advisor to provide high-quality HR advisory support to schools across a broad range of employee relations matters. Working as part of a Schools HR Advisory Service, you will provide responsive, practical and legally compliant advice to headteachers, school leaders and governors, helping schools confidently manage workforce issues while ensuring the best outcomes for staff and pupils.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £250 per day Inside IR35 *negotiable based on experience
- Hybrid working
- Contract type: Contract Monday - Friday
About the role:
- Based in Midlands (Hybrid):
- Provide first-line HR advice to schools via telephone, Microsoft Teams and email
- Advise on the full range of employee relations matters
- Apply employment legislation, ACAS guidance and internal policies to provide practical, consistent advice
- Establish the facts of complex cases through effective questioning and investigation
About you:
- You will have the following experiences:
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Experience supporting schools, academies, MATs or the wider public sector
- Strong knowledge of employment law and ACAS Code of Practice
- Local Authority experience is essential
