A local authority in the Nottingham area is currently recruiting EHCP Data Input / QA Officers to support their SEND service. This role will initially focus on data inputting and amending EHCP information within the council's 'iDox' social care system. Candidates will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across records. After approximately 3 months, there is a strong opportunity for successful candidates to progress into EHCP plan writing, at which point rates will be reviewed in line with market rates for EHCP Writers.
Key Responsibilities (Initial Phase):
- Inputting and updating EHCP data accurately on the iDox system
- Amending existing records to ensure compliance and quality
- Supporting quality assurance processes within the SEND team
- Working closely with colleagues to maintain accurate and up-to-date information
Future Progression:
- Progression into EHCP plan writing after 3 months (subject to performance and service needs)
- Rate review once plan writing responsibilities commence
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with EHCPs or within a SEND service
- Experience using iDox
- Ability to work on-site 3 days per week in Nottingham
