Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of housing disrepair matters on behalf of the local authority.
- Handle claims from pre-action stage through to litigation and resolution.
- Advise client departments (housing, repairs, and asset management teams) on legal risk and strategy.
- Support wider housing litigation matters where required (e.g. possession, injunctions).
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX Lawyer in England & Wales.
- Essential: Proven experience handling housing disrepair claims.
- Strong knowledge of landlord & tenant law and housing legislation.
- Experience working within a local authority or social housing environment (highly desirable).
