We are seeking an experienced Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join a dedicated substance misuse service in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Pharmacist with a passion for delivering high-quality care to individuals experiencing substance use challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective prescribing within a substance misuse setting
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to support individuals in their recovery
  • Assess, diagnose, and prescribe within the scope of NMP practice
  • Ensure compliance with best practice guidelines and clinical governance

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or Pharmacist qualification
  • NMP qualification (Level 6 or 7 for pharmacists)
  • Strong understanding of substance misuse and related health issues, including mental health

Desirable:

  • Experience in clinical leadership, supervision, or student mentorship
  • Previous prescribing experience within substance misuse services
  • Advanced knowledge of clinical treatment in substance use
