Social Care Officer - Family Time in Newcastle upon Tyne

We are looking for a Social Care Officer to join a respected Family Time Service in Newcastle. The organisation is dedicated to helping children and their families spend safe, meaningful, and positive time together. You\’ll be part of a passionate and supportive team committed to ensuring children feel safe, happy, and heard. Key Responsibilities

• Support and supervise Family Time sessions between children and their parents or immediate family members.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, foster carers, and schools.
• Transport children to and from their sessions in a safe and reliable way.
• Observe and record Family Time sessions, offering guidance to families when needed.
• Share clear information with Social Workers to support family assessments.
• Help create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children and families during their time together.
