We are looking for a
Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team.
The successful candidate will work alongside teachers to support students' learning, development and wellbeing.
You will provide classroom support, work with individuals and small groups, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work with individual students and small groups to support learning and development.
- Help students understand and complete classroom activities.
- Provide additional support to students who may have learning, behavioural or additional needs.
- Encourage students to develop confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards learning.
- Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of resources.
- Support positive behaviour and maintain a safe and welcoming classroom environment.
- Monitor and provide feedback on students' progress where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff and other professionals.
- Support the wider life of the school and contribute to students' wellbeing.

- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
