We are seeking a dedicated Caseworker on behalf of one of our clients in the Northeast area to support individuals experiencing substance use issues, domestic abuse, and homelessness within a Children & Families setting. You will guide clients through their treatment and recovery journey, delivering psychosocial interventions, coordinating multi-agency support, and helping them work towards meaningful, sustained recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting screenings and assessments to identify risks, needs, and the most appropriate interventions for each client
  • Developing tailored recovery plans that reflect a strengths-based, person-centred approach
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure coordinated and effective support
  • Engaging clients proactively and adapting your approach to meet diverse and complex needs
  • Following all organisational processes and procedures to maintain high standards of practice and safeguarding
  • Liaising with clinical teams to ensure clients receive appropriate clinical interventions

Key Requirements

  • Experience supporting vulnerable individuals, ideally those affected by substance use, domestic abuse, or homelessness
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and manage sensitive conversations
  • A commitment to trauma-informed, strengths-based practice
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Business car insurance in place prior to starting (essential requirement)

Contract Type: Temporary (3-6 months with expectation of an extension) Pay Rate: £15.58 Working pattern: 37 hours per week, onsite
