We are currently recruiting for two experienced Maths Lecturers to join our team, delivering high-quality GCSE Maths Resit and Functional Skills provision within a Further Education setting. We have opportunities available across North Tyneside and South Tyneside, with an ASAP start. The Opportunities North Tyneside: Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week South Tyneside: Monday-Friday, 25.5 hours per week Start Date: ASAP Delivery: GCSE Maths Resit and Functional SkillsKey Responsibilities As a Maths Lecturer, you will be responsible for: Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons to learners across GCSE Resit and Functional Skills programmes. Supporting learners to develop their mathematical knowledge, confidence and skills. Preparing learners effectively for examinations and assessments. Monitoring learner progress and providing appropriate support and feedback. Creating an inclusive and positive learning environment. Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learner outcomes.Essential Requirements To be considered for the role, you must have: A Level 5 Teaching Qualification or PGCE. Previous experience teaching within a Further Education (FE) setting - essential. Proven experience delivering GCSE Maths Resit and Functional Skills. An Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service (UDS). Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths, with certificates available as evidence.If you are an experienced Maths Lecturer with a strong FE background and are available for an immediate start, we would be keen to hear from you.
