Make a real difference every day. We are seeking a compassionate, proactive Pastoral Lead to support the wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development of young people with complex needs, including SEND and mental health challenges. This is a high-impact, student-focused role at the heart of school life, where your work directly helps young people feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.

What you'll do:

  • Provide daily pastoral and wellbeing support
  • Deliver 1:1 mentoring and interventions
  • Support attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding processes
  • Lead conflict resolution, mediation, and de-escalation
  • Work closely with families, staff, and external agencies
  • Support PSHE and whole-school wellbeing initiatives
  • Champion student voice and engagement
  • Record and monitor pastoral data to improve outcomes

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in pastoral, youth, or wellbeing support roles
  • Confident supporting learners with SEND, ASC, SEMH, or mental health needs
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding in education
