Are you passionate about supporting young people outside of mainstream education? Spencer Clarke Group is currently looking for compassionate, dedicated, and experienced English tutors to provide personalised 1:1 tuition across Manchester for young people who may be:
- Out of mainstream education
- Struggling with attendance or school refusal
- Experiencing anxiety or SEMH needs
- Diagnosed with ASD or ADHD
- Finding traditional school settings challenging
This role is ideal for tutors who can build positive relationships, adapt learning to individual needs, and help rebuild confidence and engagement with education through tailored English support.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum of 1 year tutoring or teaching experience
- Experience teaching or tutoring English
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong understanding of additional needs and barriers to learning
- Ability to deliver tailored, engaging English sessions
- Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Experience supporting GCSE English or Functional Skills English desirable
- Availability for flexible daytime sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
