We are currently working with a secondary school in the Cheetham Hill area to recruit a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant for a full-time position via agency. This role is ideal for someone committed to making a positive difference for students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication or learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with complex needs
- Support the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons alongside the class teacher
- Assist with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social development
- Implement and contribute to individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
- Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and support teams
- Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs (preferred)
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
- Relevant SEND training or qualifications (desirable)
- Full-time work via a reputable education agency
