My client in Greater London are looking to appoint a talented Senior Property Lawyer (Commercial Property) on a Contract basis. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the Property Law Team, reporting to the Senior Commercial Property Solicitor, while also working closely with officers across the Council, particularly the Assets Transformation Lead - Commercial Property.

  • Salary: £55 per hour, Inside IR35 *negotiable based on experience* please submit your CV with the rate you require

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

  • Lead and manage legal work relating to the disposal of Council property assets
  • Provide expert commercial property legal advice across a broad range of transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate bespoke property contracts and related legal documentation
  • Draft and complete TP1s, TR1s, and associated transfer documentation

About you:

You will have the following experiences:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role
  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Barrister with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in Commercial Property law
  • Sound technical knowledge of restrictive covenants, Easements, Land Registry process and Property title matters
  • Local Authority experience is essential
