My client in Greater London are looking to appoint a talented Senior Cyber Security Engineer on a Contract basis. We are seeking a Contract Senior Cyber Security Engineer with deep technical expertise in CrowdStrike and Splunk. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming security telemetry into actionable intelligence, enhancing threat detection and response capabilities, and acting as a senior escalation point for complex security incidents.

What's on offer:

  • Salary: £500 per day, Inside IR35 (negotiable based on experience)
  • Hybrid working
  • Contract type: Contract
  • Monday - Friday

About the role:

  • Based in Greater London (Hybrid): Lead deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform
  • Collaborate with the SOC partner to design and enhance Splunk dashboards
  • Act as a senior escalation point for high-priority incidents, leveraging EDR and SIEM tools for rapid investigation and containment
  • Develop and implement automation workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve response times

About you:

  • You will have the following experiences:
  • Extensive experience in a similar role
  • Minimum 5+ years in Cyber Security Engineering or SOC Tier 3 roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Falcon Prevent, Insight, and Discover. Certifications (CCFA/CCFR) highly desirable
  • Local Authority experience is essential
