Spencer Clarke Group are supporting an opportunity to join a large public sector property team, focusing on landlord and tenant (L&T) estate management and transactional work across a varied operational and investment portfolio. You will take ownership of lease events, negotiations and revenue-driving casework, helping optimise income while safeguarding long-term asset value and ensuring strong professional standards and governance.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing lease events end-to-end (renewals, rent reviews, re-gears, variations and related negotiations)
- Preparing and maintaining rental comparable evidence schedules across relevant asset types
- Instructing and liaising with legal services to complete leases, memoranda, payment schedules and supporting documentation
- Advising internal stakeholders, preparing briefing papers and supporting committee/member enquiries where required
- Ensuring accurate updates to asset records and case trackers, supporting forecasts of income and settlement timelines
- Representing the organisation in tribunals/arbitrations/court as required (expert support/witness capacity where appropriate)
- Contributing to annual valuation activity and wider service improvement initiatives
About you:
- Minimum 3 years in an L&T advisory / estates management role (public sector strongly preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of UK landlord and tenant law, negotiation strategy and case management
- Confident dealing with stakeholders, presenting complex info clearly, and working to deadlines
- Relevant property degree or equivalent (RICS membership desirable, confirm if essential)
- Full UK driving licence and ability to access sites (confirm requirement with client)
