My Local Authority client in Central London is looking to appoint a talented Director of Commissioning (Adults) on a Contract basis. The role will lead on the development of the Commissioning Strategy, Market Position Statement, setting price and fee structures and negotiating with providers.
About the role:
- Ensure the council meets its statutory duties by shaping a sustainable, high-quality care market that delivers Value for Money and positive outcomes for residents.
- Lead and develop the integrated staff team working on health and care commissioning.
- Be accountable for pooled and integrated budgets across the health and social care partnership.
- Commission all services in an integrated way including through formal partnership arrangements which may include pooled budgets, lead commissioning and joint commissioning.
About you:
- Experience at Director-level in a Local Authority context (for Commissioning).
- Ability to stabilise a service and provide strong direction.
- Excellent market knowledge and management skills.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £850 per day, inside IR35 (negotiable based on experience).
- Hybrid Working.
- Contract type: Contract.
- Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.
